House of Shells is the work of twin sisters: hand-painted shells on canvas, always in matching pairs. We built a brand around that intimate idea, where two of everything is the thread that runs through it all.
The whole brand grows from one fact: everything exists in twos. Two sisters, two hands, two pieces that belong together. We made that the heart of the identity, with a signature that holds on to the twin idea and 'Sister Pieces' as a poetic anchor. The palette stays soft and coastal: warm cream and sand with sage green and a deep, earthy charcoal as a counterweight. Understated enough to let the hand-painted pieces speak for themselves. The typography is elegant and calm, so the craft takes centre stage.
We carried that mood through to the website: a serene, editorial experience that feels more like an atelier than a shop. Every pair gets space and a story, because that is exactly what sets House of Shells apart, not a mass product but something personal, made by hand by two sisters bringing the worlds they love to life.
